PROJECT OVERVIEW

Overview

This intelligent warehouse stores parts for new energy vehicles and components using an "upper-storage, lower-picking" layout: high-level racking for bulk storage above, with ground-level zones dedicated to picking and dispatch.

The system includes racking, 3D RGV robots, hoists, conveyor systems, WMS and WCS software, AGV robots and CRS sorting robots. Digital inventory management is achieved through WMS, and AGVs seamlessly interface with the warehouse to automatically complete "goods-to-person" or "goods-to-line" material delivery based on production demand.

CHALLENGE & SOLUTION

Challenges & Solutions

▲ Challenges
Bulk storage and precision picking have very different space and handling requirements.
Automotive production requires precise, real-time visibility of every component in stock.
Some parts need to go directly to a person at a workstation, others directly to the production line.
High parts variety demands fast, accurate sorting before dispatch.
◆ SAFER Solution
High-level AS/RS racking for bulk storage, with a dedicated ground-level picking zone below.
Full digital visibility and control of stock levels in real time.
AGVs automatically choose the right delivery mode based on live production demand.
Handle high-volume, high-accuracy sorting before goods leave the warehouse.
SYSTEM COMPOSITION

System Composition

Upper-level bulk storage for NEV components.
Automated storage and vertical transport between levels.
Deliver goods-to-person or goods-to-line automatically.
High-accuracy sorting integrated with WMS/WCS.
OUTCOMES

Outcomes

Efficient dual-mode facility — Bulk storage and picking coexist without interfering with each other.

Real-time digital inventory — WMS gives full, accurate visibility of stock at all times.

Automatic delivery routing — AGVs choose goods-to-person or goods-to-line delivery based on live demand.

Faster, more accurate sorting — CRS robots reduce manual sorting errors before dispatch.
