World's First 4-Way Shuttle
Warehouse for Aircraft Engines
An unmanned intelligent storage system built for a Singapore aerospace client — handling engines worth up to $2M per pallet, with high-density storage, millimetre-precise handling and fully unmanned operation.
Overview
This is the world's first 3D four-way shuttle warehouse for aircraft engines, used to store and handle engines for Boeing, Airbus and other passenger aircraft — including Rolls-Royce units. Aircraft engines are large, heavy and extremely valuable, up to $2M per pallet, placing exceptional demands on storage density, handling precision and operational reliability.
SAFER engineered 4 custom large four-way shuttles (2,870 × 2,680 mm), combined with AS/RS racking, hoists and the SA-WMS / AI-WCS software suite, to build a highly integrated, fully unmanned smart warehouse — setting an industry benchmark for high-value, high-precision aerospace storage.
